A fresh take on How-To films. Our journey from setting up Dirt School to working with World Champions inspired us to make this DVD. Using our time on the trails with hundreds of riders, we wanted to share our experiences with you. You donʼt even have to leave the sofa. Taking a totally different approach to learning mountain biking, the film shows you how itʼs done and gives you the steps to achieving them in a relaxing, laid back atmosphere. The way we like it. Sometimes it's easier to learn when watching others do it too. So, thereʼs a bunch of highlights from our lessons in the DVD. Showing you the thoughts and feelings of other riders learning. Letting you relate everything to your own experiences. All the essentials are covered in a very in-depth style. Thereʼs blue, red and black level trails included for progression. By the end, youʼll feel more confident hitting those rocks on your favourite ride. The real highlight is in the detail, and thereʼs loads that you may not have come across elsewhere. Itʼs often the small things that count the most. The film covers the basics in a way to give advanced riders the chance to sharpen up their skills too. From our time on the trails, weʼve found looking at these can help almost everyone. Getting these right and youʼll open a whole new dimension to your riding, wherever you ride. Filmed at: Glentress and Innerleithen trail centres. "Rated 5 stars" (Bike Magic) "DVD of the Month" (MBR Magazine) "In a word, classy" (Everyday Cycling) "Every rider should own this" (UK Forum Review)

Great product for those new to MTBing and wanting to improve their technical ability. Doesnt replace actual coaching but atleast gives you a good idea of ways to undertake the skills. Includes a few inspertaional short videos.. Well worth the money and I look forward to future productions....

This was a present for my hubby, we both love moutain biking but are at very different skill levels, however, after watching it we both leant an awful lot. Since watching the DVD we have employed many of the techniques in our riding and, I for one, have developed alot more confidence whilst facing certain obstacles on the trail.
I like the fact that real people are used to teach the techniques to....people just like us and the teaching style is very 'can do' whatever level you are at.
This DVD will be one we will watch again and again as we develop and one I would really recommend to anyone who loves moutain biking and is looking to progress their skills, whether, like me, you are a bit of a 'girl' on the trail or if you are much more competent but want to push it further, faster and tighten up what is already there.

A well shot DVD with great technical teach-ins. The use of non-expert riders provides empathy for the average mountain biker. Only critical issue is that DVD chapters a bit tricky to use selectively but more screenings may resolve this and Presenter: why wear such awful "fashion" gear at your age??! It'll be sooo out of date in a year or two and you'll cringe when you see yourself in the future!
