1.0 out of 5 stars very disappointed 2 Aug 2009
By Les
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
We love this book and have had it many times to read with my 5 year old and 1 year old from the local library so I decided to purchase it instead.
However - don't buy this version! The quality is more like a pamphlet than a book - I would certainly try and avoid any "Scholastic" books on the strength of this
Definitely NO slight on an excellently written and illustrated book but very disappointed with this version

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book for class 2 Mar 2005
By Kelly Guerra - Published on Amazon.com
This book rules! I have read this to preschooler's and they love it. My friend taught a drama class for pre-schoolers and had them do a little dance to it with motions and sing the rhyme. The parents loved it, the kids loved it, and it was the cutest thing to watch! I definitely recommend this book to anyone with small children.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Fun for Kids 8 Sep 2004
By K. Vargo - Published on Amazon.com
My 3 year old loves dinosaurs, so I bought this book without really looking at it. I am so glad that I did, because it has become our favorite book -- and NOT because of the dinosaurs. My son loves hearing the rhymes and the repetitions (like an advanced "Brown Bear, Brown Bear") and often repeats them with me. He also quotes the silly rhymes as he plays with other toys. At night, we act out the story and he has quite a "rumpus" before settling down to sleep. All in all, a cute fun book that any child will adore and one that parents will like as it teaches rhymes and sounds of words in a fun way.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 3 year old LOVES this book 19 April 2003
By Alyssa - Published on Amazon.com
This book is adorable. The pictures are colorful, the text rhymes and the story is simple but enticing. We enjoy this book almost every night these days. Some of the dinosaur names are hard to say, but we still love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! 31 Aug 2003
By Philip Angarone - Published on Amazon.com
My 3 yr old loves this book too. He can actually recite it by heart- dinosaur names and everything. We also have Dazzling Diggers and I just realized today they are written by the same person- prompting me to come look at Amazon for more Mitton books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dinosaurumpus is very good! 17 Feb 2003
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
My teacher read this to us at school. Every single page of that book is good. Dinosaurs play really loudly. I was a little bit scared the first time I heard it, because the T-rex ran out. But now i am not scared anymore and it is REALLY fun to read.
