Format:Board book
In our house you can usually tell how good a "lift the flap" book is by how long it is before the flaps are ripped, crumpled or torn out altogether. Needless to say the flaps in this book didn't last very long at all!
My two boys absolutely love dinosaurs so this is perfect for them. The pictures are colourful with lots to look at, and the "opposites" pages at the back are a really good idea.

I was hoping for another hit like the "Hide & Seek Dragons" but my goodness was this soooo not worth the money!
Our son has been in love with the hide & seek dragons since 9 months so I thought I would buy the latest one for his brother, let down is an understatement, it is boring, bland and thoroughly not interesting.
Would recommend the Dragons but avoid the Dinosaurs

outstanding quality and multiple textures

This book is really well made. The pages are a quarter inch thick cardboard, so I can leave it out all the time for my 10 month old son to play and look at without worring about him destroying it. Each page has multiple textures (fuzzy, bumpy, bristly, smooth, shiny, rough ect), and the illustrations are VERY colorful and fun. He really enjoys this book. The only negative remark I want to mention is that the text is not very interesting; "This dinosaur was enormous... and these dinosaurs were tiny." So, eventually your children may grow out of it. I'm still giving it 5 stars though. It's definitely one of the best I've found in touchy feely books for young readers.

Dinosaurs (Touchy Feely)

My 3 year old daughter is autistic and loves this book. She likes to feel the different textures. We read this book over and over again everyday. She just loves it.

Ya know, I was not even considering getting this book, but after reading some of the reviews I thought I'd try it. It is very colorful and has great textures, multiple ones on every page. My 2 little girls even like the book! This is one of those that's worth the money and/or would make a great gift! : )
