Fun:
I bought this for my 7 yr old daughter. She is not a huge dinosaur fan but saw the adverts, liked the idea of the game and pestered me enough to convince me. We have not been disappointed. It is a game that she found quick to learn, easy to understand and yet engaging. She has spent hours and hours playing it and says the game changes enough with enough variety and options to keep her constantly amused.
The game gives you 24 different dinosaur species, all with different mods and features. You have to care for your dino - food, water, health after battles. This is a feature that really helps to connect with your little "pet" and stops it being merely a fighting battle game.
There are 9 different environments, all visually interesting and different with different threats to watch for.
The battles are interesting and "fun" - good balance of skill and fun involved.
You certainly get quite a lot for your money. Great graphics, lots of variables in terms of animals, battles, environments and events. Enough to keep your child (or yourself!) wanting to return and continue playing.
I would say that this is suitable for 5 yrs+ with a little adult help and by 6/7 yrs, your child will play independently with no problem. If my non dino loving daughters who do not really go for the traditional "fight" style games, then any child who really loves dinos will be totally sold on this game.
Definitely worth considering for any dino fan aged bt. 5-10 max (hard to put ages as everyone is different and some children enjoy easier games, others like a challenge)

This is the first proper game I've bought for the children, I chose it after reading other reviews and haven't been disappointed. I have a 7yr old girl and 2 boys age 6 and 4 and they love it. They can identify the different dinosaurs, graphics and sounds are great and they love sending the carnivours off to devour rotting corpses for food. Collecting the fossils is great fun too and this sends out random challenges, so far they've had to fight a red phone box, monster truck and a school house. My sister (29) is addicted too and has obviously got to a much higher level and had to fight a rocket!!
A great game, my son who's 4 really loves it, and understands the concept, move round the zone, fighting dinosaurs, to collect eggs which you then exchange in the grotto for more powerful body armour to help fight, and drink water, and eat either rotting flesh or bananas for more energy along the way.
Highly recommended, we love it.

Fun:
This is a fantastic game. My 8 & 7 year old sons can play together as it is multi-play, but also have their own individual dinosaurs to care for.

cool
This is a really cool game and so far I,ve probaly play`d on it for 24 hours.It gets much harder every level and I,ve been stuck on level 7 for a while but its a good game

Good fun but repetitive
Just as my title says, I could play it for a very long time as you can change your dinosaur's appearance, unlock new dinosaurs, unlock new fighting moves etc. Read more
