5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant book for young babies! 24 May 2014
Format:Board book|Verified Purchase
My ten month old baby adores this book! When offered a choice of 2 books, this is always first pick!
There are only about 5 pages - (so it is perfect for very young children or those with a short attention span) - picturing different dinosaurs that gradually get bigger in size, ending of course with the mighty T-rex who has the loudest roar!
Each page is made of thick cardboard, so it is perfect for small hands to practise page turning without ripping anything!
There is only one button to press, which emits only one "roar" - initially I was a bit disappointed with this as I have other "noisy" baby books with multiple sound effects. However, for babies, simplicity is often preferred! After watching me a few times, and with some hand-over-hand support, my baby very quickly learnt to press the button by himself, and now thinks he is very clever that he can make the roar noise as often as he likes, while mummy reads the story! Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great page turner for toddlers 25 April 2014
Format:Board book|Verified Purchase
It's short and snappy but with some basic description which leads nicely to the next page - and they're fun to turn for little fingers.
