My son who is 4 loves reading anything about dinosaurs, but this book did not interest him at all. The pictures of the dinosaurs were quite weird looking, there was not enough information about the dinosaurs to keep him entertained.

I am surprised the other review of this book is so negative. I think the illustrations are excellent, the text just right and the names of the dinosaurs are wonderfully varied - it may miss out one or two you might expect but children love learning the strange new names so surely that's half the fun?! Most adults will learn about a few dinosaurs they don't know too! Each page has a dino on with the appropriate Upper and Lower case letter of the alphabet. There is a paragraph (3-4 sentences) giving further details about each dinosaur. I would really recommend this book - try google images to see a few pages of the inside if you aren't sure!

If you have a toddler in love with dinosaurs this book is a good one to support him with his A to Z initial learning. My son can now recognise and name each dinosaur in it and we can play the game "whet dino starts with the letter.....?" A sure great buy.
