My daughter aged 2 loves this book so much that she's worn her first copy out - and it's less than 6 months old! So, I've now ordered a second. This book is a delight for both the reader and the child listening. Following the same rhythm as "The Night Before Christmas", the story focuses on the guests who arrive at a restaurant 'The Panda Palace' for dinner. From Lions to mice, bears to pengiuns each group of animals has a reason to dine. If you want to enthral a young child and encourage a love of reading, then this is the perfect book, as the rhyming allows them to remember the story. My daughter is often found with her now tatty book in hand reciting the story to her own toy Panda!

This book is great! I have had it quite sometime. I bought it in hardback sometime ago and my children have read it so much I have to order a new one since the hardback is wearing out I am so glad to find it in paperback!. My first son loved it alot. He is now 9 but his 3 sibilings both boys and girls have also loved this book. The book flows in almost a rythematic way and it is a excellent counting tool! I am taking courses to be a teacher and have found this to be a book both for the home and the classroom.
