From the first time i watch dinnerladies, i was hooked. It is not only a comedy but a real life drama. It has episodes on very serious issues but always manages to keep the element of suprise alive. Some of the characters play roles that you would never expect. It is an hilarious mix of comedy and brilliant writing. I only wish they were making another series.

All the episodes of Dinnerladies are very well written and cover everything from "breaking wind in a food preparation area" to pelvic floor muscles. They are stomach achingly funny and you feel you can identify with the characters completely as they all have their own little idiosyncrasies that make you want to watch the episodes over and over again.

THIS IS A MUST FOR ANY DINNERLADIES / VICTORIA WOOD FAN---- CONTAINS 3 EPISODES OF THE FIRST SERIES AND WILL KEEP YOU LAUGHING FROM BEGINNING TO END. THE CHARACTERS ARE SO FUNNY VICTORIA WOOD AS BREN AND JULIE WALTERS AS HER HORRENDOUS MOTHER WHO COMES OUT WITH THE MOST AMAZING TALL TALES. I HAVE THE WHOLE SERIES NOW AND WATCH THEM TIME AFTER TIME AND THEY NEVER FAIL TO MAKE ME LAUGH.
