Product Description

Two books in one: Dinner Ladies Don't Count and Linda's Life. Both are school stories - in the first, Jason has to prove that he didn't take Donna's birthday cards; in the second, Linda tells a lie about why she can't go on the school outing. Fun and easy to read, these are popular school stories for the 7 - 9 age group.

Highly amusing! 22 Mar 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Steer clear everyone, Jason Paris has got the hump! When Jason's temper gets the better of him he finds himself in all sorts of trouble including taking the blame for a crime he didn't commit. When Linda, in Linda's Lie, tells a small fib it rapidly snowballs out of her control. Only a good deed and a surprise phone call can put things right again. Children everywhere will recognise a Jason and a Linda in their very own class, if not in themselves! The stories are both funny and exciting and will have the reader squirming with sympathy for the main characters. Children developing their reading skills will find this book a highly satisfying read as should reluctant readers and parents!

This is a book for people who get out of the wrong side of the bed!
It is about a boy called Jason. He is sometimes in a bad mood but he can be a caring boy. Throughout the story, Jason is a boisterous lad, with a bit of a temper. He wants a dog, but he can't have one. He keeps getting blamed for things he didn't do. How will he tackle these situations?
Children aged 6 - 10 will love this story. The best bit is finding out what happens in the end!
It's an utterly wonderful read - BUY IT RIGHT THIS SECOND!
