I bought this for a bit of fun, being a huge fan of Doctor Who. I've got to say, what a waste of money.
The recipes (if they really can be called that) are rarely little more than suggestions as to how to put things on a plate, at times using completely inappropriate items to complete the look (cotton-buds in sandwiches anyone?!)

The quality of the book is terrible too, the photographs look like they were taken on someone's phone, and everything is completely unappetising.

I can honestly say I've not made anything from this book, nor will I be (even when I have my 50th Anniversary party in November!)

Really wish I hadn't bothered buying it, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone; not Whovians themselves, nor buying it for one - if I gave this to someone as a gift, then saw how it looked inside, I would be horribly embarrassed.

Save your money!

Despite poor proofreading (difference between its and it's, elicit and illicit for example), this is a delicious present idea for Dr.Who fans. The writer has a lovely sense of humour, and does try to compensate for being American in terms of ingredients and instructions - really no problem for anyone used to adapting recipes. You are bound to pick up a jolly party idea and you will smile while reading.

This was a present for my Whovian friend, and once it arrived I got a little worried.

The exterior was lovely, but the recipes contained odd photos that were odd and looked unappetising.

I must say that they were very imaginative, and stating which episode they were inspired from was a nice touch. I personally believe that it's a good addition to anyones Doctor Who collect, and looks like fun to try.

Great idea, and good for any novice cook who wants to make a fun dish, but overall, only an okay product.

It is a load of recipes inspired by doctor who, I have to give it that. But it looks like it was typed up in word. Most of the recipes are things you either could not or would not want to eat. And the photographs of the dishes make them look very unappealing.

I bought it as a gift but had to return it and find something else instead, very disappointed.

I was given this today as a gift for Christmas, I love it! It's really quirky, the ideas are mad!

I have a ten year old, who isn't as much of a Whovian as I am, but, he's going to love making Banana Daleks and Cyberman chocolates with me. It's really good fun, written in a nice friendly way, you can almost imagine the author standing in your kitchen with you, definitely a book with mates in mind.

I'm planning a Whovian dinner party for my birthday this year, that's the menu sorted :)

This is worth buying just for the commentary IMO; the recipes I've tried so far have been really easy to follow and have turned out wonderfully. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of them.,,
