Steve Marriott at his Soulful best!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Dingwalls 6.7.84 (Audio CD)
As a massive fan of Steve Marriott from his work in the small faces and humble pie, this album was a brilliant buy. The tracks show the great strength and versitility of Marriott's legendry voice. This album also shows off Marriott's under estimated lead guitar abilities. It is sad to think this man's life was cut short when he clearly had so much more to offer. The CD contains him doing covers as well as a few old numbers. Its an essential buy for a Marriott fan!

Just the Business,
This review is from: Dingwalls 6.7.84 (Audio CD)
As a massive Humble Pie and Stevie M fan, this album is an absolute must! The little jester plays and sings his heart out in his own impressive, inimitable way to the delight of a small however adoring audience. Just the business for all true HP/SM fans. Truly an essential and excellent addition to my and any collection.

Brilliant, typical live Stevie,
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Dingwalls 6.7.84 (Audio CD)
Just like many nights at the Half Moon in Putney, this recording really captures the feel of Steve Marriott live. Although there is no Jerry Shirley on drums (as in some Packet of Three performances), this CD has a great R&B feel (soulful vocals and crunchy chords). Only regret is that there is no version of Afterglow, a highlight of most shows.
