If you want an absolutely brilliant book for learning about dinghy sailing this is it! I am not new to sailing but I am new to sailing dinghies and this book has everything you could need to get you started. It doesn't just end there and leave you looking for the next book, no way, it takes you right through to racing and advanced techniques as well. So rather than just a read to get you started it's more a reference book you will want to dip in and out of time and time again.
Well worth every penny, oh and the photo's are excellent as well.
Enjoy yourselves. All the Best Mark

Dinghy sailing 19 Jan 2010
Format:Paperback
I bought this for my "skipper" as a Christmas present. He is a very experienced dinghy sailor. When I received it I thought it might be bit basic for him. I was delighted when he told me later that the chapter on weather conditions was exactly what he wanted and had been looking for this info in numerous publications. I might be a bit happier now when we go out in a force 6!
