5.0 out of 5 stars A largely ignored but superb album 17 Sep 2002

Format:Audio CD
I can't understand the mechanics of success, of critic or public, since of all the new records I've bought in the last ten years, this is the one I never stop coming back to, the one who doesn't belong to any fad (be it a mainstream or avant-garde fad,it's the same thing) yet sounds more "modern" than anything else, the one that holds together and is risky as well as listenable, danceable and without a gram of filler, but the fact is I'm the only Jeans Team fan I've ever met. And this is not a typical provintial indie kid rant: I've been to 2 jeans team shows where I was the only one supporting them.
But that has nothing to do with the music, and Ding Dong is beautifully bizarre and everlasting, at first sounds like "my 2 year old brother could do that" but slowly the hard work behind is timidly revealed and...you know I'd love to go to a packed jeans team show and all vibe together to their bizarre stage antics, but well, this way I can have them all to myself.
Yo no canto melodias, yo canto 1,2,3,4
3.0 out of 5 stars Sure isn't only a little bit of fun 2 Aug 2004

I bought this when I was having a search around in Tower Records. They were playing this and I was hooked by how catchy it was. Songs played on Atari computers - fantastic! Admittedly you have to be in a fun mood to listen to these. None of it is to be taken seriously - as if you can take the lyrics " Ich singe keine melodien Ich singe eins zwei drei vier, " serious literally translated " I sing no melody I sing 1, 2, 3, 4 "

Have fun and remember it's nothing serious

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing! 26 July 2000

I hat to say it but this album is very disappointing. Jeans Team is a German band from Berlin, and I had heard some of their songs on various compilations before - which is why got excited about finally getting a full album. And it's a big disappointment. I am a big fan of various electronic music groups and musicians but what one is getting here is plain boring. I don't really what else to say about the album. None of the tracks sticks out as being nice. I can't even remember any of the songs although I listened to the album several times. Save your money and get yourself some nice electronica!
