Product Description
The Dimplex Detroit is a 2kW freestanding electric fire. This traditionally styled fire is designed to be used freestanding flat against a wall, has a choice of heat settings and comes complete with a choice of real coal or white pebble fuel bed (both included). Additionally the Detroit features the realistic moving flame effect Optiflame, which can be used with or without heat, making it perfect for use all year round. The Detroit is finished in black with chrome effect fret and trims, and has a 12 month manufacturers warranty and BEAB Intertek approval for added safety assurance.
Electric fires are very easy to use as there is little or no installation required, and because they run off electric all you need to do is simply plug in and go! There is no annual maintenance required as with gas and they are 100% efficient at point of use.

Although this is an electric fire, its got a warming coal effect glow of a real fire which can be on with or without heat. It gives any room a warming feel. Easy to assemble. Take it out of the box, slot in the front and choose whether to have coals or stones. Its that easy.

The fire arrived well wrapped and protected against potential damage.
The value for money is amazing as you get the choice of pebbles or coals and even though the chrome isn't metal it looks real. The backlight gives the impression that the fire is real when it is switched on and the two heat settings make it easy to control the temperature. It looks absolutely fabulous against the brushed steel back panel and black wooden fire surround that I have in my front room. Very very happy!

this fire looks really smart and modern prefer the white pebbles to the real coal flames look realistic and makes room look cosy great buy
