Product Description
Dimplex T60W Tubular Heaters. The Dimplex range of tubular heaters is ideal for applications which require safe, low-wattage background heating for frost protection or as window de-misters. With a totally enclosed heating element, the design is very safe, reliable and does not dry the air like some convection or radiant heaters. Designed with safety, reliability and low running costs in mind, all models comply with BEAB surface temperature requirements and are BEAB approved. Each unit is supplied with mounting brackets for floor or wall-fixing and an optional interlinking kit will allow the heaters to be 'banked' in pairs if a higher heat output is required. Suitable for free standing or wall mounting (can be used either horizontally or vertically when floor mounted).Splash-proof (IPX4 rated).Neon mains indicator. Amazon Verified Purchase
I purchased 2 of these to warm up my airing cupboard so that my clothes are fully aired; I used to have a hot water tank but this has been replaced by a combi boiler so the cupboard always feels cold. The tubes are connected independently with separate on off switches because they don't have a thermostat. They do heat up but the airing cupboard does not become very warm and the tubes have to be placed away from anything flammable to avoid a serious hazard.

This little heater has been REMARKABLY effective preventing an electric water pump from freezing in the lowest temperatures this winter

This Product is NOT Dimplex. It seems to be a copy. It does look and work ok though.

Perfect low wattage heat
Firstly, these heaters are only 60W, so they obviously aren't going to produce much more heat than an old lightbulb. If you're expecting them to heat up a room, think again. Read more

Waste of money
Got this for a small airing cupboard, turned out to be useless, the 60 w bulb I had in a mesh cage was far more efficient.

Tubular heater
I Found that this heater did not give enough heat to warm and airing cupboard, and it was necessary for me to purchase a 120w heater.
