After having one dimplex fire with optiflame I had no reservations when we purchased this one , but I must say we are very disapointed .This one is so noisy, when just the flame is on a constant buzz which after only two days is driving me crazy. It does say it will make a little noise but to my mind this is more than little ,at times it blocks the television out.So all I will say is go and check one out that is working before purchase.
I will be getting in touch with the manafacturer to make sure we haven't got a faulty one
