The Dimplex DXUF30T 3kW upright fan heater is ideal for spot heating, when instantaneous heat is required. It's thermostatic control and choice of heat settings (including cool air setting) make this product an ideal heating solution for multiple applications, such as bedroom, home office or utility room, plus its compact styling makes the DXUF30T easy to move from room to room as desired, and store away when not in use. The DXUF30T is finished in light grey and meets stringent BEAB Intertek safety approvals, plus has a 3 year manufacturers warranty.
Fan heaters are an excellent way of providing heat to cold areas quickly and effectively, and their small footprint makes them perfect for standing on a work surface, shelf or office desk. The most common output is 2kW, however for larger areas 3kW is a better solution. Look out for options such as heat settings to control the amount of energy used, plus a thermostat that can regulate the temperature of the room. Advanced features include climate control with LCD displays that monitor temperature drift more accurately than traditional thermostat models. Many models also have a cool air setting more useful in the summer monthsto help circulate the air.

This DXUF30T 3kw heater looks and feels solid/much better built than my last one (De_longi) which died after 6 months due to a faulty thermostat and was returned.
This one is slightly quieter too with faster airflow due to a multiblade fan. Warms a cold room up in minutes!
At least one of the complaints on here can be sourced to not reading the manual/heater instructions! It says you must turn up the thermostat to the highest setting when initially heating the room.
Once at your selected temp, say 21 degrees, turn the thermostat back down so it just clicks off.

I'm using it to as a complementary heater to heat the bathroom before the bath of our newborn.
There are 2 controls: one for the thermostat and one for the power which has 4 positions: 0-Off, *-Fan Only, I and II for heating.
Basically It's fine when using it on position (I) but it seems in this mild weather that putting it on (II) will shut down the heater too quickly and would not heat the room properly.
This is probably due to the flow of air not being cold/fast enough and the device seems to overheat internally and self shuts.
Have not tried it in very cold rooms so can not tell if this is going to be a problem in the future.

I would concur with the previous reviewer. Bought this 3KW thinking it would keep my sitting room warm - when the weather is between seasons - but the thermostat does not agree with me and shuts the heater down too soon. Very disappointed with this product as I bought Dimplex because I thought they were a good brand.

Lots of heat from something so small!
