The Dimplex DXAC12000 is a powerful 12000BTU portable air conditioning unit with a built in dehumidifier. Suitable for room sizes ranging between 10m - 25m sq. the DXAC12000 features 3 fan speed settings and an automatic setting which will adjust as needed to maintain the desired temperarue setting. Additionally the DXAC12000 has a sleep comfort setting which marginally increases the set temperature over a two hour period automatically, to counter balance the drop in body temperature whilst sleeping. The DXAC12000 features a 24 hour timer, LED display screen and remote control, and comes complete with exhaust hose. Plus, in addition to cooling the air the DXAC12000 has a dehumidification setting which will extract upto 50 litres of moisture per day. The DXAC12000 works at an optimum room temperature between 15 - 35 degrees celsius and at a noise level of 56dB. The DXAC12000 uses R410A environmentally freindly refrigerant and comes with a 1 year manufacturers waranty.

This is a nice looking unit.It is not as quick or powerful at cooling as my Amcor airconditioner,but operates more quietly.The hose stores neatly into the back of the machine.

Presumably this is not in Energy Efficiency Class A otherwise we would be told! so its 12000 BTU output may be going to cost a small fortune.
