The Dimplex 2kW 3077 convector heater is ideal for use in any room (except bathrooms) where there is no heating, or heat is required unexpectedly. The gentle heat provided by this smart convector gives a comfortable heat without making a sound, and it's choice of two heat settings offer greater user control. Additionally the 3077 features a turbo fan boost setting which helps to circulate the heat faster around the room, but can also be used to provide a burst of cool air when used independently if required. As with the majority of convectors the 3077 can be used either freestanding so it can be moved from room to room, or wall mounted (brackets included) for a more fixed heating solution. The 3077 has a neutral white and light grey finish for unobtrusive application, plus BEAB Intertek Safety Approval and a 3 year manufacturers warranty. Wall brackets are located on the underside of the heater, please refer to instruction manual.
Convectors are an ideal alternative to a fan heater when it comes to heating a room. They are larger and designed to be used either freestanding or wall mounted. They come in a choice of outputs ranging from 750W to 3kW, and many feature energy saving features such as thermostats, choice of heat settings and timers. Certain models also come with inbuilt fans to extract the heat from the body of the product quickly and effectively. They are ideal as a form of low cost heating when an extension to a house has been built as they simply require mounting to the wall with brackets provided and plugged in. A great little heater that heats my 11Sq/m conservatory with ease. Silent operation as a convector heater, speedy heating when required as a fan heater without excessive noise. For the summer days the fan can be operated on it's own to circulate the air.
I decided to wall mount the heater, and using it this way it takes up little room. I'm currently running it 24/7 with the thermostat set to position 1 (out of seven markings, Frost then 1 to 6)which holds my conservatory at 10 Centigrade. Then when I need to use the room I just increase the thermostat to position 2 and either leave the heater to do it's thing, or press the turbo button to operate the fan for even faster warm up.

Apart from the turbo fan function sounding like the product was faulty it does a fine job of warming an insulated 8x10 summer house

Dimplex Convector Heather with Turbo Fan
Item is used for heating up conservatory. It does its job okay. Its nice and compact. Would Recommend for areas that need heating up quickly. turbo fan is good as well
