The Dimplex 3kW 3087S convector heater is ideal for use in any room (except bathrooms) where there is no heating, or heat is required unexpectedly. The gentle heat provided by this smart convector gives a comfortable heat without making a sound, and it's choice of two heat settings offer the user greater control over the energy it uses during operation. Additionally the 3087S features a 24 hour mechanical timer offering greater user control over operating times. And like the majority of convector heaters, it can be used either freestanding so it can be moved from room to room, or wall mounted (brackets included) for a more fixed heating solution. The 3087S has a neutral white and light grey finish for unobtrusive application, plus BEAB Intertek Safety Approval and a 3 year manufacturers warranty. Wall brackets are located on the underside of the heater, please refer to instruction manual.

They come in a choice of outputs ranging from 750W to 3kW, and many feature energy saving features such as thermostats, choice of heat settings and timers. They are ideal as a form of low cost heating when an extension to a house has been built as they simply require mounting to the wall with brackets provided and plugged in. The heater is ok, it puts out a decent heat quickly. However I had to send the first two back as they were both damaged in transit. I blame the manufacturers as the packaging is very poor. So third time lucky, well not really. Although the heater works I have just dicovered the timer doesnt, this is an important feature. I would also send this back but I have already got rid of the packaging and cant be bothered with the hassle. Due to these problems I would sugget this as a not good option.

BOUGHT TWO 3 KW WALL MOUNTABLE DIMPLEX CONVECTOR RADIATORS WHICH WORK EXTREMELY WELL, HOWEVER I DID WANT TO MOUNT THEM. HOWEVER THE BACK OF THE FIRES GOT REALLY QUITE HOT AND I FELT THAT THEY WOULD SCORCH OR MARK THE TIMBER WALLS I INTENDED TO MOUNT THEM ON - LOOKING NOW TO SEE WHAT SORT OF HEATPROOF MOUNT I MIGHT USE TO MOUNT THEM ON.

Dimplex heaters have always performed well for me and I have never had a problem with any of them. Amazon price was so much cheaper than any other supplier of this model and as always Amazon's service and speed of delivery was exceptional.
