The Dimplex Chalbury is a traditionally styled, flame effect, inset electric fire, in a chrome effect finish with black detail.
With an inset depth of just 55mm, this simple to use electric fire can be either inset into a 16" or 18" fireplace opening (is suitable for all conventional flues), the wall, or a suitable fire surround. Alternatively the Ashington can be used freestanding flat-to-wall using the spacer provided, and because it is electric there is no mess and no installation costs or annual servicing required (as with gas), it simply requires plugging in.
The Chalbury's key features include a 2kW heat output and choice of heat settings, with all controls located discreetly beneath the canopy. In addition this traditionally-styled, modern finish electric fire, presents the worlds 'best-selling' electric flame effect, 'Optiflame®', complete with a real coal fuel bed for added authenticity. Unlike gas the Optiflame® flame effect can be used independantly of the heat, so you can still enjoy the cosiness of the flames on dark mild evenings, or even when the central heating is on, without overheating.
Finally, as with all Dimplex electric fires, you get the added reassurance of BEAB safety approval, which means the Chalbury has been produced to the most stringent safety requirements for domestic electrical appliances.
