A product with some smart electronics that does what it says on the tin. The switch simply replaces your old one, just two wires. The switch is controlled by setting dip switches and two dials, one a timer and the other a daylight sensor or you can control with the included remote.

Setting the switch is a little fiddly, but with perseverance (and the different light levels in the room) you can get it to work very efficiently.

Other features include a mood setting, security setting (have the lights come on at times), a night light.

The only complaint I have is the high delivery charge of £10. This should have been delivered next day at this rate, i had to wait 5 days, 3 working days and a weekend before it was delivered.

This product has great features ... on paper at least. Sadly the Amazon blurb does not mention that this product has a 60W MINIMUM load, and does not work with Dimmable CFLs. Basically, it only works with incandescent bulbs, Some types of Halogens and those 12V systems where the transformer is dimmable.

Since we are all being weaned off energy hogging lights like the above, it seems that this product's time is over :-(

The security feature would be nice, but who these days is going to leave a 60W or more bulb burning for up to 4 hours? The product's 'Green' features are nothing compared to using a CFL instead of an incandescent.

So, sadly I had to return it, and am still using my rather ancient remote control dimmer that does still (just about) work with the 'dimmerable' CFLs.

3 stars because it would be a great product with incandescent bulbs. I hope Amazon update the technical description to provide more details.

Perfect PIR internal light sensor. Put this in the kitchen on 6 35 watt downlights that I want to turn off after 2-3 minutes of inactivity. Like the fact that the lights come on 'like magic' when you walk into the room and magically go off again when you leave.

Nice that they also have a dimmer option so that the lights can adjusted depenedent on time of year / cast light. Activation and duration points can also be adjusted so you can set how dark it needs to be when they turn on and how long they're on for.

Works pefectly from day one.
