I received the product quickly and well packed, but when I used it for the first time it was faulty. I contacted the seller, who could not have been more helpful, and a new dimmer was despatched, and received within two days. The new one works perfectly, and I would definitely recommend this dimmer to anyone looking for a dimmer switch for any use. Good product, and even better aftersales service.

This dimmer worked for me. It plugs into a 13 amp socket and accepts a 13 amp plug. If it did the full 13 amp it would be rated 3000 watts. It is rated at 300watts. Not 2 amps. Great for table lamp if you use standard bulb. Will not work with low energy bulbs.

This dimmer works really well. I bought two of these items for the camping tent lamps so I could use slightly brighter halogen bulbs and dim as needed. Well packaged and compact.
