Although I've always loved Indian movies, and some are very serious with no singing/dancing, I never understood why many are over-the-top and fantasy-based until I heard the explanation from Indian people, including some actors. Now that I know that being over-the-top and fantasy-based is, for the most part, the goal of Indian directors, writers, I love these movies even more! And this one is surely one of my favorites; I love watching Aamir (in any role) and Madhuri (one of the very feisty actresses) - I'm about to watch it again, for the upteenth time!!!! 5 Stars.

Okay, it's corny. It's also addictive. The music and dancing is wonderful, and it's a treat to see a young Aamir and a young Madhuri together...they are both so beautiful and believable. The plot goes from silly to serious, way over the top, but if you are a fan, you won't get tired of watching it.
