5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal For Beginners 22 Aug. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
If you are overwhelmed by information regarding digital photography this book is for you. It explains the digital photography basics and it comes with images and step by step instructions.

You will learn about different types of cameras and how to use them, how to take pictures like the pros, how to shoot different types of subjects (macros, portraits, sports and so on). In plus you will learn how to edit and correct your images using the latest software and you will also find a lot of useful tips and tricks.

In conclusion: If you are attracted by digital photography and you don’t know where to start this book is for you. I wanted to get more from my DSLR and this book is a huge help.

3.0 out of 5 stars Basic content, useful as a starter 18 May 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If you knew nothing about photography you'd find this quite useful. If you know a bit about photography in general and want to learn about what's new with digital, then you'll not learn much about taking photos that you didn't already know.

What is useful for digital converts is the last half of the book that covers file types and post processing. Although covered at a basic level it does introduce a lot of the possibilities of post processing that that never existed with traditional film.

Worth £1.99 in my opinion.

Many digital photography techniques explained lucidly. Much in here will be of interest to those new to digital or those uncertain of some of the terminology, and certainly to those, like me, who are very familiar with using film and are switching to digital. well written with an easy style, very understandable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good guide for novice DSLR users. 13 July 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Although I have quite an extensive knowledge of DSLR cameras this book gave some good advice and clarified a lot of the jargon used in photography. Also the chapter on Photoshop was well written and informative
