I have a Sony KDL46W5740 TV and Sony BDV-E370 Home cinema and Sky+. I originally connected Sky+ to BDV home cinema via audio cable and suffered severe lip sync and Sony BDV failed to auto switch to audio input. I purchased this cable to solve both problems and it worked a treat. Lip sync is minimal (using the digital out from sky+)at an acceptable level and home cinema detects and automatically switches to TV (optical SPDIF) input. Excellent product looks robustly made , good laser output, improves surround sound and super value

I purchased this cable to go with a Panasonic sound system and it was the first time venturing into the unknown optical cabling. I admit I was a bit of a N00B, but took the plunge after reading the positive reviews here on Amazon!
The cable came fast and was packaged very well. Even had little rubber clips to protect the ends! So I connected it to the sound system and then to the TV, and was astonished at the sound quality and performance!!!
Then after reading some stuff on sound systems, I was lead to believe that it is better to use a HDMI wire... So I connected a HDMI ARC wire and it was no where near as good and clear as the Digital Optical Cable.
If you want perfect sound, this is the cable to get!!!

This is a wonderfull optical cable which was quickly delivered and works without any hassels.It is easy to fit and The sound quality is great.Over all it is a wonderfull experience of buying this cable.
