5.0 out of 5 stars It does what it says on the tin 21 May 2007
Format:Paperback
If you have a website that needs updating or you are thinking of reviewing your marketing strategy buy this book. If you are even thinking about a website, buy this book. It covers the basics for complete newbies (e.g the difference beween the world wide web and the internet) but also addresses how your website can/should/might fit into your marketing plan. Find out about search engine optimisation, advertising and affiliate programes. It also covers blogging, Myspace and other things I'm probably too old to know about (but no longer will I have to ask a teenager).

A wealth of material to help you beyond the web of confusion.

1.0 out of 5 stars Extremely out of date 6 Aug 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Unfortunately the copy doesn't make it clear that this book was written in 2007 and not been updated since, so you will find that it's woefully out of date. It was compiled before the social media revolution, and doesn't even mention Facebook or Twitter, let along Pinterest or Tumblr. MySpace seems to be where to put your money though!

Please withdraw this book from the market or create an updated one for now. Digital marketing moves fast and these books need to keep up.

But if you're still listening to McFly and the Sugababes, and think The Bourne Ultimatum is the hottest thing out, this book is for you.
