On the quest, you'll find this time around that you won't just be controlling the one character either, and once again the game world is genuinely huge. There are many, many days of adventuring here, and thanks to a savvy mix of combat, exploration and conversing, it's an easy game to get sucked into. Perhaps, on the downside, it's not especially friendly to those unfamiliar with RPGs, and there are moments of outright frustration along the way. Yet this is a very good, almost old fashioned RPG, and one that represents excellent value for money. --Simon Brew

My partner has both Divinity games and find this game to be brilliant. The graphics are amazing and so smooth. You can zoom right in and right out without any loss of detail. Your character can be male or female and fully customised. The story is so absorbing. Its an all round excellent RPG.The only problems we had was that you need quite a decent PC to run it. You need at least 256 RAM. We had to buy this but its relitively cheap our computer is so much better for it. Also if you don't already have it, the game comes with direct X 9 and you may have to download and install the lastest drivers which can be found on your computers maufacturers web site. After this all your other games should run alot more smoothly and faster. This is an excellent game and I highly recommend it if you love RPGs. Better than Diablo.

I enjoyed the first game in this series (Divine Divinity) so much that I was set up to find Beyond Divinity disappointing - unless it turned out to be something special. And it did. Very different in mood and tone from its predecessor but an equally immersive experience. One of the great features of these games, for me, is the quirky humour eg if you take the time to click on books, you're apt to come across titles like 'Healing Potions: the Case for Addiction'. The graphics are great, the story-line is great and the music often sublime.
I certainly didn't experience bugs/crashes etc mentioned in other reviews. An unusual, excellent RPG experience.

This is an amazing game in that it appears to go on for ever and ever! A few teething problems but these are dealt with by customer services pretty promptly. Imaginative ideas and environments thoroughly enjoyed this. Haven't played the previous game and you do not need to. Recommend it.
