This is a great book if you're into digital horror art, with some great examples and tutorials, but watch out as this is the same book listed on Amazon as 'Digital Horror Art' by the same author. The content is identical with just the title and cover changed.

This is excellent book if you already have some experience with digital art, but not for beginners. Good tutorials and examples, gets the creative juices oozing. Don't do what I did though and buy this AND Digital Horror Art - they are the same book.

this book is 4 someone who is not a beginer at photoshop techniques.

great examples and tips (general but not step by step).illustrations are exeptionally great. I would say it is rather inspirational guide then a manual with examples.

This is no glorified artists' portfolio, although it does feature lots of eye candy in it's insightful step-by-step tutorials.
It's certainly solved a few digital painting mysteries for me and gave me some great insight into combining techniques to give my work the creative edge it needs.

Again, as mentioned before by other reviewers, this is not for beginners. The commentary is meaningless without at least a basic knowledge of the software used.
