5.0 out of 5 stars Great Camera for the price, 6 Sep 2006

Ok so the picture you get isn't going to be great but it's as good as the video from a normal digital stills camera but not as good as a proper digital video camera. You can buy better cameras for £hundreds but bearing in mind your strapping it to a helmet that your assuming your going to need (ie get bashed) do you want to risk loosing that expensive cam in an instant ?

The camera is light and easy to use, its compact and well designed it takes 2 AAA batteries and an SD card, it also has a laser pointer to target what you are recording.

1.0 out of 5 stars incompatible, 15 Feb 2009
This review is from: Tony Hawk's Helmet Cam (Electronics)
Tony Hawk's Helmet CamAs with other reviews the filming stops after 5 minutes but to be fair it does actually say this in the book, all you do is restart the filming every 5 minutes (yeh,I know).
My gripe is the error faults that keep coming up when plugging it into pc, tech support is rubbish - it is full of these faults so they know about them and can only suggest rebooting pc as a cure (which doesnt work)the link to contact them doesnt work so left with a piece of junk that is not compatible with pc and zilch help from the so called tech gurus.
Dont waste your money !!! I'm sure there are better supported items out there.

3.0 out of 5 stars Helmet Cam, 3 Jan 2008

Mine also only lasted 5 minutes but I thought it maybe because I wasn't using lithium batteries. The off button doesn't always work so I have had to just take the batteries out to stop it. It is a impossible to remove from the belt unless you get someone strong to do it. It would be better if it came with a charger. You really don't want to think about changing batteries right bang in the middle of cycling down a hill.
