3.0 out of 5 stars As a good friend of mine would say, "Meh." 6 Mar 2004

This is akward. It's Digimon, but I guess since Daisuke (Davis) is telling it, and he's turned into a slang, gangster-talking boy, it's a little... bleh.
Let me explain.
I, the Scarfed Kai-kun, am a major fan of Digimon, and 02 is my favorite season. Say whatever you like.
This adaptation of the anime, though, is a little unfulfilling. It hurries along each thing so fast. Only 2 volumes. Two. TWO!?
TWOOOOO! I lie to you not.
I picked this up at a store last night, read it, and laughed. Not beacuse it was funny, it was kinda dumb. If you have never seen the show, it will be insano confusing. Kids, like the rating A (all ages) suggests, will be a bit confused by the pacing, and all others will be underwhelmed.
The art is okay and faithful to the series, by the way.
(Dai/Davis REALLY bugs me...>__<)
I suggest this to hardcore Digimon fans that wouldn't care about how the story is rushed along.
(NOTE: I bought this for that reason and for supplimental reasons, for a fanfiction I'm writing... heheheh.)

I enjoyed getting to read the manga and the different plot twists it had from the anime. I loved the cute art style in it.
