5.0 out of 5 stars Digihome TV 31 Aug 2011
By Alan
Colour Name:Black|Size Name:16-inch
Bought this TV to use in my caravan. First impressions were very good. Styling nice and due to being LED backlit this TV weighs next to nothing. Connectivity options are very well covered for such a small unit. You will not get high audio output or multi angle view but lets face it, do you expect that for a TV of this cost. The Audio can be improved by going through an amp if required.
Altogether this is a great small TV for caravanning etc or a small bedroom and at a very bargain price.
Recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Digihome LED19913HDR Freeview TV 18 May 2012
Colour Name:Black| Size Name:19-inch|Verified Purchase
Arrived very quickly - within three days. Easy to install with a clear set up menu and auto tuning, was up and running in less than ten minutes. Picture quality is excellent for a budget set, did not notice picture loss with angle mentioned in other reviews but as it is used in a bedroom with an almost level viewing angle this may explain it. Audio is a bit tinny but no more than other 19" sets costing a lot more, turning on the dynamic bass helped a lot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great value - but buy some speakers 25 Aug 2012
Colour Name:Black| Size Name:22-inch|Verified Purchase
I've largely been pleased with this thing, but I do have some provisos.

Quick list of pros and cons:

PROS:
- The picture quality is solid. Not AMAZING but clear and consistent.
- It has a good variety of inputs, including USB, which actually works very well.
- The installation was easy and worked first time.
- Menus are fairly quick and easy.
- It's a nice and neat-looking thing and the stand is solid.

CONS:
- While the TV is "Full HD" (so 1920x1080 in resolution), the built-in freeview receiver does not actually, as far as I can tell, receive HD channels! If you actually want to watch live HDTV, you'll need to get a separate HD freeview/freesat/Sky/cable box. This is not something I care about particularly but I thought I'd mention it -- and the standard definition channels still look very good on the screen. Obviously if you plug in a blu-ray player or other HD-sourced thing (like a console) with an HDMI cable, that'll be in full HD.
- The sound is REALLY AWFUL. It will go up quite loud, but it's extremely tinny and the speakers will rattle and clip at high volumes. This is clearly where they've made savings. It's probably okay for casual watching of shopping channels or whatever, but for films, or if you care at all about how it sounds, you will need to plug in some speakers. Even inexpensive PC speakers are better. And fortunately this is very easy - just stick them in the headphone socket.
- For some reason, if you watch something from a USB drive, and then switch back to TV mode, the sound and picture go out of sync with each other. Turning off the TV and turning it back on fixes this, however, so it's not a big deal really.

5.0 out of 5 stars Size isn't everything 24 Sep 2011
Colour Name:Black| Size Name:16-inch|Verified Purchase
Well maybe size is important after all. This compact little TV is ideal where space is limited. My previous TV in the kitchen went wrong and breakfast in the morning isn't the same without the news! This little set with its built in Freeview did away with the digibox and scart leads etc and has given back some worktop space as a result. Just a pity that it doesn't have a "tilt" facility, but otherwise a really nice little set.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wee Telly 7 Sep 2011
By Ally
Colour Name:Black| Size Name:16-inch|Verified Purchase
For the price a excellent small television for use in a confined space. Took it out the box switched it on and everything happened flawlessly, and within five minutes it was tuned in and working. And I can even look at the family photos of an sd card.

Why it did not get a five is that the screen is quite reflective (more than my other flat screen tellies)

My wife & I are very happy with it

well had this going for about a month now and still very happy with it. It is so easy to install (I haven't used the built in free view as i have sky) remote is a little on the light side due to its shape but other than that little quibble its got all the functions you need and there all easy to use and access. The picture quality is great (I have HD channels) & the HD picture is amazing. Someone posted about a buzzing noise when things go quiet well I have heard a tiny little noise just a couple of times (not enough to notice really but was listening out for it because of that post) It just what they call white noise i think its just when the speakers are self adjusting when volume suddenly goes, but as i said just a couple of times and not noticed since then. The sound is really quite good so no probs there. What more can i say apart from this is a fantastic priced LED TV and for the money i personally think you get a lot.
