this is the best book i have read in years, if you enjoy gardening and have an allotment this book is right up your street, the characters included will be ones you know,and reconise from the allotment,theres wonderful little recipes,and hints and tips too, the bird scarer is on my allotment and works a treat!

I brought this book on a whim, and didn't regret it. It's funny, but also contains some useful hints and tips on a growing year on an allotment.

What a fantastically enjoyable book. I spend 10 mins every day just reading a couple of pages and not only does it give you some good advise, it helps people who are thinking about getting an allotment experience the everyday banter and camaraderie between different allotment holders, it helps them experience the diverse cultures that are just on our door step.
I would reccomend that everybody has a copy of this in there car as I have. I also hope there will be another book coming out soon!

Excellent book!
This is the best book i have read in ages. There are some very useful tips in here on growing vegetables and fruit but it also has some funny parts. Read more
