Oh my God how this book has been loved in our house! It all started when a friend of mine bought it for my son's 2nd Birthday. We had to read it about 20 times a day (no joke) for about six months. He then relaxed into about 5 times a day! Within weeks he could recite it completely by himself! The illustrations are full of detail and lead you on to many discussions and the pop ups are great! It is quite sturdy and I really can't recommend it enough for friends. I have gone on to buy it for other children as a Birthday present. If your child loves all things construction then this is the book to get for them!

bought this on clearance at B&N bookstore - I do not buy many pop-ups yet as i am not sure about them not tearing in the rough grasp of a 3.5 year old. But for the money it was a great purchase... he loves this Book. It is well made, but as with any detailed pop-up book you still have to be careful about opening/flexing the pages too much. We also have Zoom - by the same author/artist. In both books we enjoy finding the hidden characters(like "where's the mouse/")one every page in the pop-up art and the details ...
