Really good book to work with the problem based approach to solve the cases. What may have been a plus and made this book perfect, would have been to add a line under each differential explaining the reason why it is a differential, or how it is inducing a metabolic change for example...
But I agree with the other reviews, enables to save a lot of time... Would definitely recommend it.

Very useful during final year rotations, and then doubly useful for your first year in practice, particularly for some of the more unusual diagnoses. Handy for problem solving cases, makes you use a logical problem solving approach. Invaluable to me in my first year in mixed practice.

I am a vet student and have used this book so much both whilst seeing practice and during rotations. it has saved me hours looking up differentials and definitely helped my revision. I imagine it would be useful in practice too as it is almost impossible to remember every differential diagnosis for every condition! I would definitely recommend it.
