Are there any differences between this edition and the previous one, apart from the cover?

No difference other than artwork and box style. Originally ITV released it a good few years ago on DVD in a HUGE box...using non-restored versions of the episodes and costing a small fortune. Then they released the previous set that you mention using restored versions (which look so much better by all accounts). And then they re-released the previous (restored) set with new artwork...which is this set.

I have just ordered it...for £20.97...a total bargain when you consider what the original set cost and the fact it was non-restored.
