Best book on diet/health I've ever read. Mainly as it is unbiased. Takes a while to get to grips with how to read the sections and how they link in together, but once you do, it is a mine of knowledge. As long as you put it to good use.
It dispels the stupid myths like not eating carbs after 6 pm (pleeeze! get a brain people) and in the end after absorbing all the information you actually understand how your body works and what it does and does not need. Brilliant.
Yes it's just a manual, but you will be very surprised how you just can't put it down as it's so packed with interesting information.
