Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

All too frequently, developers who try to incorporate multiple genres of gameplay into a single title fail miserably. Fortunately for gamers, Fox Interactive has successfully merged three distinct game styles into Die Hard Trilogy. This expansive action game faithfully follows the plots of the theatrical films--sans Bruce Willis.

The game starts off with a whimper rather than a bang, since the first game (Die Hard) is the worst of the bunch. In this action shooter sequence, you re-create John McClane's barefoot hostage rescue mission from the first film. While this game segment is fun in short doses, the run-and-gun gameplay ultimately gets repetitive.

The second sequence Die Harder is much stronger. In fact, it is one of the best light-gun games available for the PlayStation. As with other light-gun action games, you must shoot objects as they quickly move across the screen. In this part of the game, you must shoot your way through the Dulles airport. You can play this portion of the game with the basic PlayStation controller, but we highly recommend that you invest in a light gun for maximum fun.

Die Hard with a Vengeance concludes this game on a high note. This sequence consists of an incredibly fun (and bloody) driving game that takes place in a realistic city environment with traffic, pedestrians and New York landmarks. As a whole, this collection represents one of the best values available for the PlayStation, provided you can stomach the over-the-top violence and copious bloodshed. --T Byrl Baker

A CLASSIC! 31 July 2000

Format:Video Game
Die hard trilogy was one of the first games i bought when i got my playstation and boy what a purchase it was.At the time i paid £35 for it and if it was that much now i would still recommend purchasing it.I couldn't believe it when it was here for only £..! a absolute bargain for an absolute belter of a game! With Die hard trilogy you are buying a game that you will be playing again and again, it is like 3 games in one.You have a driving game where you drive several vehicles through New York parks, city centre and China town just like the film you have to locate bombs and drive into them in order to save the city from mass destruction, then you have a first person shoot em up where you move through an airport and you move your target and blast away countless terrorists and anything else that happens to be knocking about such as checkout desks, windows, cars and tv screens attached to the walls, you then have a tower block with around 20 floors where you have to kill all the terrorists and then locate the lift with a bomb init in order to detonate it and move on to the next floor/level.this is third person shoot em up where you run around picking up numerous weapons along the way in order to blow your enemies away , you go through car parks full of cars which you blow up to offices where you can blast your way through windows in order to get away from the following terrorists. 3 games for £.. you cannot fail, BUY THIS GAME NOW! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Fun:
I first played this at my cousin's house back in 1998. I was still a Saturn person, whereas everyone else had a Playstation. What I remember about this game is running around a office in a vest and the following-

'Ho ho ho I gotta machieve gun!' 'It's McClaine!'

I bought this game for £1.25 off ebay, and, ignoring outdated graphics, I can see why it's a classic. Three games in 1- 1 action platform, 1 shoot em' up, and one driving game (that at the time, there was nothing like that on any otehr console).

One of the best games on the Playstation and PC for the 90s!

This may be a slightly aging game, but none the less it still delivers. It is a game that you can realy enjoy. I was about to think I had wasted my money on buying a gun, however Die Hard Trilogy proved me wrong. If you are havingn doubts about buying this game I would advise that you DON'T. Its worth getting as it is now at such a low price. GO FOR IT
