5.0 out of 5 stars A worthy reference, 9 Jun 2000
By Sarah MacDonald - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: A Dictionary of Lace (Paperback)
This book is precisely what it says: a dictionary of lace. Clear, concise, definitions are given for a wide variety of types and styles of lace. Pat Earnshaw is a true scholar in the realm of lacemaking. If you want to know about many forms of lace, or the proper terms for the ones you make, this is a worthy reference to keep on the shelf.

1.0 out of 5 stars not complete, 31 July 2010
By BT Sea - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: A Dictionary of Lace (Paperback)
Perhaps I did not receive a complete book but the fabulous illustrations are not identified as to what type of lace it is.
Not helpful in sorting out visually what type of lace I have in my collection.
