It's a very useful dictionary. I'm a student and I've never get disappointed using this diccionary.It also gives you one or more synonyms for a word most of the time. It has different definitions for a word which is used in different countries of South America or in Spain. I think it's the best Spanish-Spanish dictionary I have ever had.

I bought this dictionary when I was looking for a monolingual Spanish dictionary that would serve me as a fluent second-language speaker of Spanish. This dictionary is very complete; I have never not been able to find something I wanted to find in this dictionary. It's too advanced for people who are just starting out in Spanish but for native speakers and advanced non-native speakers it's just right. I don't think I'll need to buy another Spanish dictionary.

My wife grew up in a household which quit speaking Spanish as she entered school, to assist her with learning English. We took Spanish classes together of the years, but now retired, she's trying to become fluent.
I found this book online and bought it for her as a birthday present last month. She loves it! So it must be great!
