Diary of a Trance Medium follows the story of Angie's first meeting with her new and somewhat unorthodox spirit guide Richard and continues with many amusing and spooky adventures as they travel throughout the UK demonstrating trance, running workshops and attending houses that are plagued by disquieted spirits. Stories range from the amusing tale of the ghost hamster, the lusty cavalier and the hanged man of Glastonbury to more spine chilling encounters such as night time visits from negative entities. The book also carries the essential message that no matter how you work spiritually and with which spirit guide that all these interactions are completely natural and that are well within the reach of anyone who wants to follow a spiritual path and to shine their light in this world.

As a small child I was educated at a private Catholic convent and can clearly remember sitting at Mass listening fearfully to the priest and thinking how there was no way that I could go to heaven, that I would definitely burn because of all my sins! Convent cured me of God. Later as I qualified and began work as a martial arts teacher I became interested in Zen Buddhism, Zen cultures stillness which is attained through meditation and it was whilst in meditation that I started to receive communication with my then Japanese guide Hiraito. At that time I truly believed that I had found my spiritual path, that I would study Zen for my whole life, but unbeknown to me the spirit world had another plan! On February 2000 my new spirit guide Richard came crashing into my then peaceful life. At the time as I floundered and struggled to comprehend the phenomenal spiritual awakening that I was going through many more orthodox mediums told me that I should get rid of him, that there was something wrong, especially because he had been a suicide. But inside I knew this was meant to be. That this was our spiritual path. Since then we have worked with over 10,000 people at venues throughout the UK and Jersey, and Richard has become well loved and appreciated for his amazing abilities. And together we have shared many amazing experiences and adventures and given countless instances of proof of life after death. As Richard says, 'It's not over when the fat lady sings'.And it has become our mission to prove it!
I bought this out of interest because I'm a fan of the rockstar that Angie Kruger claims is her spirit guide. The person in question is missing, but his body has never been found, he may actually be alive for all anyone knows, there have been many sightings of him. The little personal details Kruger gives about his appearance and mannerisms are things that anyone who's read a book or webpage about him would know, there's no insider information here. The book itself is so short and thin that I read the whole thing in half an hour, there's barely anything in there, only a few brief stories of supernatural things that have supposedly happened to Kruger, and most of them don't even involve her guide. I actually phoned Kruger's radio show and got a "reading" from her, pretty much everything she told me about my interests, personality and life were totally inaccurate, and the few things that she told me that were true were things that could apply to anyone (eg- "you like music"). So forgive me if I'm not a huge believer in her tales. I also emailed her to ask if she could clear up some inconsistencies between the things she says about her spirit guide and the known facts about him. She said she doesn't discuss such things over the internet but if I travel a long way to her show and fork out money for a private reading, then she'll tell me. Yeah right. I have also discovered that Kruger was a fan of this rockstar during his life and went to his band's shows and has a copy of his tattoo.... very coincidental that your favourite rockstar would become your spirit guide. Seems to me like Kruger wishes she had a relationship with this man and is trying to part deluded people with their cash in exchange for inaccurate readings.... It must also be painful for the man's family and friends to have someone claiming that he's passed over when they don't even know if he's dead. There are also other so-called "psychics" out there who have written books claiming that "Richard" is alive - see "Psychic Detective" by Keith Charles as an example of this. With some claiming he's dead and some claiming he's alive, I don't see how anyone can take this seriously. Whether he's dead or alive, I say let him rest in peace! Kruger also claims that she didn't want people to know who her spirit guide was in his lifetime, and makes out neither she nor he want to capitalize on the fame he gained during his lifetime. She says their cover was blown by someone else. This is plainly nonsense considering the in-depth detail she gives about his lifetime on her webpages, which (if you know who he is) leave you in absolutely no doubt as to who she's talking about. She even named "his" email address (where you can email him for psychic readings) after the place where he supposedly committed suicide! All in all, I think she is just using his name to make money, and probably upsetting his family, friends and fans in the process.Read more ›
I found this book really good to read, it gives both Angie's and Richards perspective on life and their work, and some nice stories of the work they have done, with some nice little funny touches too. Well worth the read

I did enjoy the book .The only reason why I gave it for stars And not five Is because a it's very short book .around 70 pages .I would mind trying to read more of her books But I cannot find them on Amazon .maybe later .
