This is one of my favourite Point Horrors! I lent it to a friend and she loved it too. It's full of suspense and written in an easy-to-understand, direct style. Yes, it won't apeal to adult readers - although I still catch myself flipping through it guiltily now and then - but teenagers from 12-16 should enjoy it hugely. The only reason I'm giving it four out of five is for the slightly abrupt ending. Still worth a read though!

The Diary is a very very good book. When you're reading it before you go to bed you just can't put it down even though it's really late. It's very gripping and exciting as it goes through the events. Sinclair Smith is a very clever author as he knows just where to put the suspense and action to make it an excellent read.

this is a story about a girl who one day finds a diary in her locker. As she reads it she becomes more and more convinced that she was the girl in the diary, in a past life.
This story is extremely scary and keeps you excited till the end.A very good storyline and a very good last chapter.
