The Diary of Anne Frank is a real diary written by a real girl who had to go into hiding during the Holocaust. Anne can confide in her diary about anything. She writes about the troubles involving the Nazis and the persecution of the Jews, the difficulties of sharing a small living space with eight other people and having only the bare essentials to live on, the problem of having to keep silent so as not to be heard, and also, the hardships of having to face the problems that any thirteen year old girl has to face whilst living in these terrible conditions.
'The diary of Anne Frank' is a must-have book for any teenage or adult reader. It is deep, touching, emotional and at times upsetting, which, along with its reality and fact makes it a truly unique book to read.

It has been over half a century since I read Anne Frank's diary, but it had such an impact on my life that I have never forgotten it. Today I am buying a copy for my great-granddaughters, just as I did for their mother & grandmother when they were of appropriate ages.
Anne is long gone, but her message for humanity lives on. I don't think my life & worldview would be the same if you have not allowed me to share those days in Amsterdam. Thank you, Anne.

Must Read.

The Diary of Anne Frank is a must read for anybody. For those who don't know, it was written by a young Jewish girl who was hiding from the Nazis during World War II. It was eloquently written, especially considering the source. It's an eye opening read. Definitely read this.
