my children and i stumbled onto this book while living in wales and were able to buy the audio cassette at the same time. the 3 authors' use of music and poetry absolutely enthralled us from start to finish! since moving back to the states i've been searching in vain for another copy of the set but even the book on it's own is definately worth picking up.geography, history and some historical fact are all mixed into the fun so that children are learning w/out even realizing it! i strongly reccommend this set to anyone with young children. it will spark some great conversations between you!
