with the UK press as a consultant and photographer on special news
projects. He lives in Hampshire, England.

Suprisingly pleasant book, nice text/ pictures DVD will work in US players,

I bought this book on a whim and was pleased to see that the pictures are usually very good. Some are never before published, some not as good as others. The text was written accordiing to each section and was as much biographical about Mr. Harvey's part in it as it was of the Princess, very friendly and often even informative. My only real complaints are minor- the book is not entirely chronological, sometimes jumping back and forth in time and you are left to assume that all pictures in a section are revelant to it (most are not identified as to what/where/who.
It's a nice book, much better than "Dicing with Di", which the author did with Mark Saunders years ago and worth owning. There's no information given on DVD compatibility- I bought the book expecting the DVD to be Region 2 PAL, but it works in my Region 1 NTSC player. I haven't watched all of it yet but it is worthwhile, do look at the unpublished picture section- some of these are as good as any in the book.

This book is full of colourful proffesional photographs that at worst stunning and absolutely brilliant at their best. They capture the essence of the lady and are a real tribute to Diana and I hope her boys will enjoy this book as I have done and will keep it as a record of history.

An excellent book with really interesting and fabulous photographs - many of which I haven't seen before. What made the book stand out from other books on Diana was the facinating insight into the countries she visited - each photograph told a story in its own right. The book has been really nicely produced and was a pleasure to receive. Strongly recommend.
