Product Description

Book Description

The real story by Nicholas Davies
Earlier this year I was invited to Scotland Yard and asked to give evidence
to the team and explain to them the reasons why I believed Princess Diana
had been killed by British security forces. During an interview lasting
several hours, I explained how I had been told Diana’s killing was planned
and executed. I readily gave them the evidence I had collated in
researching this book.

The interview was taped.

1.0 out of 5 stars a dreadful book!, 23 Oct 2006

Not a subscriber to the conspiracy theory myself, but eager to find out more and willing to change my mind; I hoped this book would critically analyse the events surrounding Diana's death and logically argue the case for the conspiracy theorists. Instead, the book addressed these issues only in its final few chapters, the main text being taken up with a very poorly written account of Diana's life. The author makes several sensationalist claims which he treats as fact without backing these up with any evidence. The text is littered with spelling, typographic and grammatical errors as well as in several places contradicting itself. I don't think I have ever read a worse book! It has gone straight to the charity shop!

1.0 out of 5 stars Offensive and non-sensical, 27 May 2011
This review is from: Diana the Killing of a Princess (Paperback)
This book does not deserve a star rating. More like a hammer one. While reading this book I was sometimes in doubt whether it was meant to be factual or fictional piece. Poorly researched, some of the most serious claims tarnishing the late princesse's reputation are plated on as if they were facts, never presenting any evidence, never being substantiated. Outrageous. It is a tabloid book. Nonsense and downright rubbish. It is like a toilet paper with the s... already printed on it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scotland Yard believed this conspiracy theory enough to interview the author!, 24 Jan 2007

It's about time the facts were laid down in a book. This man knew Diana and has information on MI5. The book is easy reading with lots of background information from an author who has penned many books on the royal family and is a New York Times bestseller. It's definitely worth reading.
