Do you always look forward to reading the short story in your regular magazine? Then look no further for the paperback purchase to take on holiday. This collection of short stories will keep you entertained whether you are in the airport lounge or lounging on the beach. AND the added bonus is that the proceeds go to charity. So can you think of a good reason not to buy it? Happy summer reading.

Really nice collection of short stories......particularly like The Clockmaker's Daughter by Penelope Alexander......my clocks are never right, they are always fast......I am such a bad timekeeper!

And this is in aid of Against Breast Cancer so you can help them while having a good read.

If you're a fan of UK women's magazine fiction, which I've been all my adult life, you'll really enjoy this collection by the top names in the genre. Kelly Florentia's lovely story about a girl making the right decision about the man she met on holiday is especially delightful, but everything in this anthology is a joy. Funny, heart-warming, sad (but in a good way), life-affirming and laugh-out-loud, there's something here for everyone.

After reading Sue Houghton's story, I'm treating my own washing machine with great respect! Why? You'll have to read the book if you want to find out. This volume is raising funds for breast cancer research, so buying it will help a very worthy cause.
