3.0 out of 5 stars Not as sizzling as the first album 11 Jun 2010
Format:Audio CD
I loved the first album a lot and have not been able to stop playing it. I liked the NWOBHM feel mixed with thrashy speedy riffs. It was the best album I have heard for a long time, Loved it. I could not wait for this album to come out and have now played it several times, but am still feeling a sense of disappoinment.

Dont get me wrong, it is a good album, but it does not have the speed and the bite of the first album as it rather more song-based. There are a couple of tracks that may have fit in on the first album: 'nightmares', and 'Live for the night', but overall it does not have the fantastic speed and tempo of the first album.

I can tell it is a good album but it does not make me go WOW like the first album. It is also not very NWOBHM, even though some reviews say it is.

More intensity next time guys!!

2.0 out of 5 stars not for me sadly 27 Aug 2010
By sean paul mccann VINE VOICE
Format:Audio CD
Enforcer are a band that are enjoying a fair amount of interest and praise so i thought i would buy this and see what the fuss is all about, alas i was let down.
Some say that there is an element of spoof to them, gladfully that isnt true. This is a hard rocking band that have a really 80s sound to them and in being that way they are far from original and very few of their songs stand out, shame.
I think this band can improve and some say their debut is better than this so maybe i will have a listen to that before i write the band off. For now they have a decent sound but lack the killer tracks to back it up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quick, Quick, slow 16 Nov 2012
Format:Audio CD
Brilliant - I saw this band in support of Angel Witch at the weekend and they gave the band a run for their money. Tight tempos, sweet harmonies and a thumping backline from the outset. A real good set in this day and age of sludge and doom metal. The NWOBHM superlatives are right even down to their moves and stage dress. The vocals can get a bit 'girlie' but not enough to dectract from what the band are doing. Give this a listen if you like melodic speed metal.
