Having waited relatively impatiently for Tunngs 4th Album 'And Then We Saw Land' I was a little dissapointed to find that 50% of the major creative force behind the first 3 albums, Sam Genders, was no longer involved. Whilst the album was still very good, it seemed to lose a little of the quirkyness that make Tunng stand out from the crowd.
Fortunately Sams new project Diagrams nicely captures the feel of the previous 3 Tunng albums, along with his understated vocals but without so many of the samples and eletronic noises (which I do miss).
Overall it's a very nice little 5 track taster of what is hopefully to come.
