Product Description

Product Description

The Diago Micropower9 is a smaller version of the Powerstation. Using the same low-noise digital technology as its bigger brother, the Micropower9 is perfect as a direct universal replacement for hundreds of other proprietary bulky and ugly wall warts, as well as being ideal for smaller pedal boards of up to 6 pedals. The Diago Micropower9 uses digital switch mode technology, making it quiet, light, efficient and tiny, reliably powering your pedal(s) so you can concentrate on making music.

I bought this item for my pedalboard to replace the old power supply, which was generating unacceptable noise. This one causes no noise at all and provides more than enough power for all my devices while being small enough to be tucked out of the way, leaving enough space for an additional pedal. One very slight criticism is that the flying lead into which the mains lead plugs could do with being just a little longer so that it can be secured with a cable clip - but this is very minor, to do with the layout of my particular pedalboard rather than the unit itself and certainly not a deal-breaker. Thoroughly recommended.

I bought this as I have a couple of vintage pedals with weird voltage. This unit seems to be the cheapest on the market and it works just fine. It has a short circuit protection thingy, which I found I needed when I plugged something in wrong! I can't fault it. It's small and runs a daisy chain set of connectors and there is a great range of adaptors for different kinds of pedals. Highly recommended.

So far so good. Absolutely tiny power supply but easy to Velcro on to my pedalboard. I also bought the Diago Deluxe Daisy Chain to power 6 pedals. I have a TC electronic tuner, Jim Dunlop Cry Baby, MXR dyna comp, Joyo Overdrive, Danelectro Tremolo and Behringer Vintage delay. All work fine with the supply, and no real hiss noted. Good length of cable as well. All in all a great little power supply for about the same price as you'd pay for 6 decent 9v batteries.

This is a very small power supply that works flawlessly. I've got it on my pedal board powering up 2 pedals. Remember that it doesn't come supplied with a daisy chain connector. You need to buy that separately. It's very quiet and well built. I like Diago stuff! Never let me down yet.

Have been putting up with a noisy generic PSU for too long so looked for something better. I considered the power brick types at first as that's what most guitarists on forums use, but thought this was worth a go for £25. Absolutely worth the money - all the hums and crackles and interruptions gone instantly. Extremely lightweight but well built with a kettle type lead for easy replacement should you need to. I've been daisy chaining 8 pedals off it from cheapo Behringers to a couple of EHX and a Boss looper with no problems. Its worth calculating the total power usage in case you need the larger spec version - its worth noting that you get a free daisy chain cable worth a tenner with that one.

Received this yesterday and came complete with the daisy chain cables - I now have a spare set because a number of reviews said that these were NOT included so I ordered a set! IT WORKS - replaced a number of existing separate power supplies, connected up some that didn't have power supplies so no more 9V batteries (yippee!). Now powering 3 x EHX pedals, a Mooer, a Digitech and a TC Electronics Polytune - everything works as it should and significantly less noise. I would definitely buy another and, if I've learned anything, it seems that the biggest cause of 'noise'/hums in the signal chain is power supplies rather than the pedals themselves.

Does its job perfectly, you can attach the middle bit (with 'Diago' on it) to the underside of your Pedaltrain. I don't understand why people buy supplies like Voodoo Labs, it's not needed! Would be helpful if it came with the daisy chain though.
